She/her/hers
Welcome! I'm Hannah Muetzelfeld, a Licensed Psychologist currently accepting telehealth clients in 30+ states.
I use an integrative approach that I adapt to each individual client. I strive to be culturally responsive in my work, and place a great emphasis on developing a strong, authentic connection with my clients. I work to collaboratively develop a plan for healing that works for each individual.
I integrate an attachment lens in my work, meaning that I see value in understanding and working through emotional injuries and pain, while also attending to the influence of early experiences and how they may be impacting you today. I often work to help clients change their relationship with their emotions from one of avoidance to acceptance. I also see importance in exploring values, as they can help guide us to a more fulfilling life. While these have often been foci of my therapeutic work, I highly value flexibility, and believe treatment should ultimately be adapted for each individual. I often consult current empirical research in order to make sure each of my clients is getting the best and most updated care available.
I am a generalist by training, meaning that I have been trained to work with a multitude of presenting concerns and diagnoses. Additionally, I have special interests and expertise in couples therapy, gender-affirming care, and grief counseling. I am a queer-affirming therapist, and center my own core values of acceptance and openness in my work.
I am currently working with clients virtually. I'm not currently accepting insurance and my rates are $150/session for individual therapy and $225/session for couples therapy. To schedule a free 15-minute consultation to talk more about working together, reach out to me via the contact button at the top of the page, or email me at brpsychsvcs@gmail.com
